To have an engineer review the existing boardwalk standards for 8’ and 4’ width and provide recommendation and standard to improve the structural design. TRCA has developed a boardwalk standard that is constructed on sites throughout the jurisdiction. This standard has been developed using information from the Ontario building code and the construction industry. To help develop a higher standard it has been recommended that the existing standard be reviewed by a structural engineer and changes to the standers be implemented to improve structures in the future. |
